RECONSTRUCTED GARMENTS POLICY
Many KOLYA BOGATYREV garments are produced through reconstruction, alteration and transformation of existing garments and reclaimed materials.
As part of this process, garments may contain:
variations in texture
variations in colour
visible stitching
previous construction marks
repaired areas
signs of previous use
irregular fabric characteristics
No two reconstructed garments are completely identical.
By purchasing a reconstructed garment, the customer acknowledges and accepts that slight differences may exist between product photographs and the final garment.
These characteristics are not considered manufacturing defects.
MADE-TO-ORDER POLICY
Many garments are produced individually after an order has been placed.
Production begins only after payment has been received and order details have been confirmed.
Depending on the complexity of the garment, reconstruction process, material availability and production schedule, production may take up to twenty (20) business days.
After an order is placed, a member of the KOLYA BOGATYREV team may contact the customer via WhatsApp using the phone number provided during checkout.
This communication may include:
order confirmation
production timeline
sizing confirmation
material availability
shipping information
customisation options where applicable
Customers are encouraged to provide a valid phone number that can receive WhatsApp messages.
Production timelines are estimates and may be extended if additional production requirements arise.
CUSTOM ORDERS
Selected custom projects may be accepted upon request.
Custom orders may include:
individual sizing
one-of-one garments
archive reconstructions
commissioned pieces
special production requests
Production timelines and pricing are determined individually.
Custom garments are generally non-refundable unless delivered damaged or materially different from the agreed specifications.
SHIPPING POLICY
All orders are shipped from Berlin, Germany.
For made-to-order garments, shipping takes place only after production has been completed.
Estimated delivery times after dispatch:
Germany:
2–5 business days
European Union:
5–10 business days
International:
7–20 business days
Delivery estimates are not guaranteed and may be affected by customs procedures, local postal services, weather conditions or carrier delays.
The customer is responsible for providing accurate delivery information.
INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING, TAXES & DUTIES
Orders shipped outside the European Union may be subject to customs duties, import taxes, VAT or additional fees imposed by local authorities.
These charges are the responsibility of the customer and are not included in the purchase price unless otherwise stated.
KOLYA BOGATYREV is not responsible for customs delays or additional charges imposed by the destination country.
RETURNS & REFUNDS
Eligible products may be returned within fourteen (14) days after delivery.
Returned products must be:
unworn
unused
unwashed
undamaged
returned with original tags and packaging
The customer is responsible for return shipping costs unless otherwise required by law.
Refunds are processed after inspection of the returned product.
NON-RETURNABLE ITEMS
The following items are generally excluded from returns where legally permitted:
made-to-order garments
custom garments
personalised garments
altered garments
archive pieces
sample pieces
final-sale items
This does not affect statutory consumer rights.
DAMAGED OR INCORRECT ITEMS
If a product arrives damaged or incorrect, the customer must contact the studio within forty-eight (48) hours after delivery.
Please provide:
order number
description of the issue
photographs of the product
photographs of the packaging
The matter will be reviewed and an appropriate solution will be offered.
TERMS & CONDITIONS
By placing an order through the website, the customer agrees to these Terms and Conditions.
Product photographs and descriptions are provided as accurately as possible. Due to reconstruction and made-to-order production processes, slight variations may occur.
KOLYA BOGATYREV reserves the right to modify products, descriptions, prices and policies at any time without prior notice.
All intellectual property rights related to designs, products, images, graphics and written content remain the property of KOLYA BOGATYREV.
